When Nancy's mug was like that in the long-ago, it used to be All About Jam.
this panel is confounding. at first i thought maybe it was "lazy blackface" where you start all "i'm gonna be a minstrel!" and then after the mouth, you're all like "this is hard work. screw this" and stop.
